How Does Allowing Gay Marriage Have Anything To Do With Education?
Why do so many people state that their child will be taught about gay marriage in school if gay marriages were legal?
I don’t recall hearing this argument nearly as frequently when civil unions became legal.

It doesn’t, Those are all lies just to get gay marriage banned..because their only real argument is “the bible”..and they know it wont work, because of separation of church and state…so they start making up fake reasons as to why gay marriage should be banned! It’s truly sickening…The reason prop 8 was passed was because people actually believed what the people were saying about gay marriage.,,

im bi so im all for gay marriage
however many parents are concerned because they consider being gay and gay marriage to be wrong and schools would have to teach that sex is between two people not between a man and a woman and also that marriage is simply between two people not a man and woman. and then dont want their children taught that.
hope i helped.

where would be the harm in teaching kids about gay marriage? i promise you, the species would perpetuate as normal whether they taught this or not.
my answer to you is it has nothing to do with anything, just the usual paranoia exhibited by the religious extremists of any creed.

For the same reason that if two people of the same sex who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together get married people will develop a sudden passion to marry a herd of goats

yes, i agree with the first poster. it’s a scare tactic. many parents are afraid that if they teach same-sex marriage in school then many children will become gay :$
kinda stupid but whatever.

Funny thing is when I was at school I wasn’t taught about blatant bigotry then again we never learnt about marriages either.
